Welcome to tzChristmas.com !!
The home to my Christmas lighting display. I’m Thyno Zgouvas and this site is dedicated to my love of Christmas, Christmas lights, and the joy that they bring to so many during the Christmas season, the happiest time of the year ! Stay awhile, look around and enjoy yourself.
I also want to send out a big "thank you" to my parents, John and Mary. Your love of Christmas, and your love for me and my 3 sisters, gave us Christmas memories that I will cherish and share for the rest of my life.
2016 will be the 13th year of my animated display. THIRTEEN YEARS ! It doesn't seem like I've been doing it for so long. Where has the time gone ? Preparations have begun for what will hopefully be another fun year of making memories and reliving some old ones. What a fantastic time of year !
This year, like last year, all donations collected will be given to Agape for the Children, here in Montgomery. Agape's philosophy, as a ministry of Jesus Christ, is that vulnerable and orphaned children find permanency in safe, nurturing families. Their mission has led Christians through Agape to serve more than 2,000 children through foster care, and more than 250 children through the permanency of a Christian adoptive family. Thank you to all that donated during the 2015 Christmas season. A total of $2,536 was given to Agape for the Children !!
If you want to know more about what's going on with the display, please like us on Facebook at this link
I hope you enjoy your visit here and always remember the reason for the season;
The birth of God’s Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Christmas Enthusiast Prayer
As I untangle strings of Christmas lights, Lord help me to remember that I do this first to honor You. Never let me get so prideful of my display that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child or the joy on the faces of those who are still children at heart. Never let me forget that my total effort is to make Christmas memories, bring cheer and to slow down the pace of a hectic season, if only for a moment, and focus on the true meaning of Christmas. And Lord, someday when I meet You face to face, I pray that I may hear You say:
“When you made My people smile, you made Me smile.”
