Welcome to tzChristmas.com !!
The home to my Christmas lighting display. I’m Thyno Zgouvas and this site is dedicated to my love of Christmas, Christmas lights, and the joy that they bring to so many during the Christmas season, the happiest time of the year ! Stay awhile, look around and enjoy yourself.
I also want to send out a big "thank you" to my parents, John and Mary. Your love of Christmas, and your love for me and my 3 sisters, gave us Christmas memories that I will cherish and share for the rest of my life.
2017 will be the 14th year of my animated display. FOURTEEN YEARS ! It seems like yesterday when I had a few thousand lights and one controller. Where has the time gone ?
I'm hoping to make some changes to the display this coming season. I definitely will add some new music. I have some ideas on a few things I want to add, as well. I hope I can manage time better this year. I'm really looking forward to what will hopefully be another fun year of making memories and reliving some old ones.
This year, like last year, all donations collected will be given to Agape for the Children, here in Montgomery. Agape's philosophy, as a ministry of Jesus Christ, is that vulnerable and orphaned children find permanency in safe, nurturing families. Their mission has led Christians through Agape to serve more than 2,000 children through foster care, and more than 250 children through the permanency of a Christian adoptive family. Thank you to all that donated during the 2016 Christmas season. A total of $1,904 was given to Agape for the Children !!
If you want to know more about what's going on with the display, please visit us on Facebook. You can also like and share my site with your friends. Just click on the buttons at the top left on this page.
I hope you enjoy your visit here and always remember the reason for the season;
The birth of God’s Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Christmas Enthusiast Prayer
As I untangle strings of Christmas lights, Lord help me to remember that I do this first to honor You. Never let me get so prideful of my display that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child or the joy on the faces of those who are still children at heart. Never let me forget that my total effort is to make Christmas memories, bring cheer and to slow down the pace of a hectic season, if only for a moment, and focus on the true meaning of Christmas. And Lord, someday when I meet You face to face, I pray that I may hear You say:
“When you made My people smile, you made Me smile.”
