Welcome to tzChristmas.com !!
The home to my Christmas lighting display. I’m Thyno Zgouvas and this site is dedicated to my love of Christmas, Christmas lights, and the joy that they bring to so many during the Christmas season, the happiest time of the year ! Stay awhile, look around and enjoy yourself.
I also want to send out a big "thank you" to my parents, John and Mary. Your love of Christmas, and your love for me and my 3 sisters, gave us Christmas memories that I will cherish and share for the rest of my life.
2013 was the 10th year of my animated display. TEN YEARS ! It doesn't seem like I've been doing it for so long. Where has the time gone ? If you didn't get a chance to make it by this year, click on the videos tab on the left. It will take you to the video archives of the display. I will be posting the video from this year's display around the end of January.
This year, all donations collected were given to Agape for the Children. Agape's philosophy, as a ministry of Jesus Christ, is that vulnerable and orphaned children find permanency in safe, nurturing families. This mission has led Christians through Agape to serve more than 2,000 children through foster care, and more than 250 children through the permanency of a Christian adoptive family.
I'd like to thank all the people that donated to Agape. This year, the display collected $4,448 !! Thank you all, so much for donating to such a wonderful organization !!!
I hope you enjoy your visit here and always remember the reason for the season;
The birth of God’s Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Christmas Enthusiast Prayer
As I untangle strings of Christmas lights, Lord help me to remember that I do this first to honor You. Never let me get so prideful of my display that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child or the joy on the faces of those who are still children at heart. Never let me forget that my total effort is to make Christmas memories, bring cheer and to slow down the pace of a hectic season, if only for a moment, and focus on the true meaning of Christmas. And Lord, someday when I meet You face to face, I pray that I may hear You say:
“When you made My people smile, you made Me smile.”
